There are a lot of posts about what is the best ammo. This is not one of those posts. I am curious what different kinds of bullets, specifically SD ammo looks like after impact. I know there are several factory produced photos of the different types of bullets, but I was hoping to see some real world user recovered ammunition. I am really curious what the Ranger and Federal rounds look like after impacting a target. The photos I attached are Hornady Critical Defense FTX 185 gr .45 acp shot from my Commander size 1911.
Don't retreat! Reload!!!
Looks like pretty good expansion... What did you shoot it into? Water jug?
People have posted pictures of expanded SD ammo... Can't remember the exact link ATM, but you might try the search tool...
