I've never met a auto-powder thrower or charge checker die that I trusted !

I don't trust mine either, but I have to say its pretty consistent. It throws within .1 most of the time unless I rush my stroke. My autodisk, just throws powder everywhere. It leaks out on top of the disks and every time you make a charging stroke it drops the excess powder on the bench. I guess it helps keep my bench clean though, since I have to clean the powder up to prevent burning the place to the ground.
Don't retreat! Reload!!!
been using a lee turrent press for the last 25+years
Rockchucker and a Dillon 650
Howdy Otintx, we meet again. Since I am retired and have time on my hands, I have a Rocker Chucker press and prep all my brass by hand one piece at a time. Yes, it takes a lot of time but I enjoy doing it this way very much but I do my powder charges using 2 RCBS measuring devices or else it would be be really slow. Also, I let my Lyman tumbler clean and polish my brass.
Good shooting,
Mike
I picked up a Lee Turret Press Kit at Cabela's for $114. Had the press, a scale, the Auto Disk set-up and Auto-Primer feeds for both sizes. I like it well enough (don't know any different since it was my first press). I find that the Auto Disk and the dippers do not give the yield they are supposed to. They are consistent from one shell to the next, but not to the rating for a given size.
I'm not too thrilled about the scale. I had a chance to pick up a used RCBS 505 at a gun show. I passed at first (didn't want to lug it around), then when I went back, it was gone. Same thing happened with a 1911 leather speed holster. I have learned to buy it when I think I want it.
Let's see how much trouble that gets me into.

I have tried the Lee "dippers" also and do not trust them ! I threw several charges on the scale to test the accuracy and it was not within the tolerances I consider consistent.
Rule for gun shows, see it, want it, buy it !
Or suffer the consequences ! ! !
