These are exactly what I currently carry in my G23. I was planning on trying out the Hornday CDs when I ran out of the Rangers, but I may get some more of these. This video makes me second guess my plan to switch ammo.

Zenas, I currently use Hornay CD. I have done expansion test on them myself, although not as thorough as the test in this video. I like the CD ammo, but these Rangers are just plain evil looking upon expansion. Either would make a great SD round and if I could find the Rangers locally I buy them just to have. Hornady still has availibility on their side.

I have Ranger 127 +p for my 9mm SD ammo. As for feel.... Personally, I find +p 115 to be the most snappy recoil wise and 147 to shoot the softest. I practice with 124 gr so It's 127 for me.

But, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of any of it!

Just ordered a few boxes of both .40 180 grn. and +P .45 230 grn. These will be my carry rounds.
