I have been reloading my 10mm and some 9mm ammo with the new all copper bullets. I feel like a kid in the candy store at the range. The bullets in the lighter weights are longer then my old lead filled copper shell hollow points so I can load previously impossible light bullets and still maintain the length I need for reliability. I have also found that my bullets do not break up on impact at high speeds like say the "old gold" bullets did. I have increased my loads in increments that most loaders wouldn't measure, for safety, so I won't encourage anyone else to try this but I will say that when you get the bullet up to about 1,800 fps the expansion and penetration is really impressive. I have heard nothing but negative comments about the all copper bullets but I have found just the opposite to be true. If anyone has any negative experience using the all copper bullets I would like to hear from you. I am also getting equal or better accuracy using them and trajectory is much improved. Let me know your experience. I will add that safety should always come first.
I haven't heard anything negative about the all copper bullets... Your post is interesting, though...
Possibly they are a hedge against the lead in current bullets?
