Hey everyone!
Been a big Glock fan ever since I was a child. Recently purchased my very first handgun, the Glock 21. About 7 days left on the waiting period and I'm absorbing as much info on Glocks as I possibly can. Now, I know it takes .45 ACP ammunition but what exactly is the difference between ACP and GAP? Can I use GAP and ACP ammo in my Glock 21? If so/If not, where on the ammo box does it list GAP or ACP? Recently picked up a box of 50 rounds and I just want to confirm I got the correct ammunition ^_^;;
I look forward to your responses!
welcome, my friend,
GAP has a shorter length shell. it's loaded to +p .45acp pressure so i can achieve the same velocities. this also means there cannot be a +p GAP round. the shorter shelled GAP was made in order to fit a 45 caliber round into a 9mm/40cal size grip.
you CANNOT use GAP in your G21. you want the 45 ACP ammo for your G21. excellent gun, by the way!
(GAP/ACP)
most 45ACP ammo just says "45 auto":
you DON'T want this:

Ah, alright. Thanks very much for your input it helps a lot. Now I'm pretty sure I got the correct ammunition, but for the sake of double checking (and peace of mind) would you mind checking out the picks I took of it to reaffirm my speculation
