    Best Self defense Ammo Comparison.

I don't believe this link has been posted here before, and sorry if it has, but taken in context, it think it gives a pretty good comparison of some of the ammo choices out there. It actually surprised me with the overpenetration data for inside the home when shooting thru drywall.

If guns and gun owners are so dangerous, Why are there never any mass murders at the gun range??

this is another entertaining thread where this guy shot rounds through steel plates, although his conclusions that 357sig is superior is wrong. he compares it to much slower velocity 9mm's. a fair comparison would have been to 115gr +P+ 9mm. the FBI tested the 357sig round and found it had no advantages over hot 9mm:

Yup, like I said, you gotta take it in context. Anyone who is putting that much effort into a report is doing it for a reason and it usually isn't just out of the goodness of their heart. I personally like reading these comparisons to see where they differ from each other and then try and figure out why. Many times it's easy, it will come down to the weapon it's fired from, other times it's harder to find the difference. Either way it adds data to the big picture.
