Go with the 43. You will be glad you did. Not much bigger than the 42. Wawmore carryable than the 19. I ordered the 19 but when it didn't come in forever...I got the 43. Sooooooo glad I did. So will you.

I really like to carry and shoot my G42, but I do have to admit that I would not want to go any smaller. I shoot the 42 nicely, but have to alter my grip just a tad to make sure my trigger finger does not rub my support hand.

I didn't mean to imply that the 42 was not worthy compared to the 43. I was just trying to indicate that if you are looking at both the 42 and the 43...IMHO I would get the 43 bc there is very difference in size and weight between them. So why not go for the 43. Ammunition is more available and cheaper.

For what it's worth I carry the tiny Ruger LCP .380. I have an average size and I don't have a problem with hand position.

So...it has been a while. But, I finally got the cash and purchased my G43. Now I need a holster. One owb and one iwb. Any ideas? I see alien gear advertises on this site. How about glockstore holsters?
Hoping to get to the range today or tomorrow. :-)

I have a Blade Tech Klipit for both my 19 and 43 and I am very pleased with this IWB holster.I now carry my 43 every day and the holster is comfortable and conceals well. They are not an expensive holster-$29.95 retail and the quality is very good.Go to their website for better information.

Old thread...but went with the 43. Don't carry it often this way, but it does fit in my jeans front pocket. The extra mag fits in the little coin pocket...or whatever that little pocket is for.

Just be sure you keep something covering the trigger guard doing it that way. No reason to loose a nut due to the fabric making up your pocket.

So the permit is good for 5 years but the class is good for 1 year?

So do you need to take a class every year?

What is the class? Is it an NRA course or a homegrown safety course?

I wish there was one national standard and/or a National license recognition law.

My Oregon CHL is good for 4yrs as my Utah is good for 5yrs. Oregon sucks when it comes to reciprocity. They had it (almost) fixed a few years back until liberal douche bag Floyd Prosanski ("Prozac"ski) decided to muddy up the bills language. The bill never made it out of committee.
