Do you carry with your Glock chambered?

When you carry, do you keep it chambered or do you keep it unchambered so you'd have to actually chamber your gun when you need to use it? This debate has been going on for years.. which side are you on?

Absolutely YES!! I may not have the time to chamber a round if a BG is close enough. I carry all my guns chambered.

An empty chamber is worthless when you need it and fractions of a second count.

If I was gona carry an empty gun Id carry a full sized 1911, that way if I had to throw it at somebody it would weigh enough to hurt when it him them. Haha

Absolutely. Safety rule number 1 a gun is always loaded. There are 5 in the house right now; computer room (where I am) living room, bathroom floor (beside the throne) and both sides of the bed.

The only racking sound you will hear in my house and the last thing is the bolt on the Mossberg 12ga.

    Mteagle1,
Only 1 loaded firearm in my house and it stays with me at all times. It goes where I go. Why arm an intruder with one of your own? The rest stay in the safe out of reach except by me. Only thing worse than being killed by an intruder is being killed by youre own gun.

A un-chambered carry gun is useless. I carry locked, loaded with a extra clip close by. My home defense guns are locked and loaded ready to go. I have kids, but they have been taught that if it can go bang assume it will if the trigger is touched.
