Great article. I can't wait to show my brother in law another reason why it's better to get a Glock instead of a SA XDM. Lol.

The author is absolutely correct about the muzzle flip of the XDs and Sigs. Not that they're bad guns, especially the sigs, but the barrels are too high. Most people don't usually bring that up. Good article.

Yeah I am not a fan of the XD's that much. I do like Sigs though but I prefer my Glocks over any other.

Great article, it really sums up my experience too. I went from being a die hard kool aid drinking Glock fanboy, to hating glocks for many years. Now I carry a Gen 4 Glock 19 daily for all the reasons listed in the article. It isn't the best shooting or the most comfortable or the best looking gun I own, but it's the one I have confidence in on a daily basis, and the one I sweat all over.

I use to carry a Kimber Ultra Crimson II... but because i have heard of some leo's have confiscated some law abiding legally CCW licensed guns around here... i quit carrying it and bought a Glock G4 9mm... shot about 200 rds thru it thus far.. and next month i am going to Tactical Response to take "fighting pistols" course... it will be interesting..
