We have a local leather maker here in GA that I have bought several holsters from. He is very willing to make custom changes, or all out custom leather for his customers. He has very fast shipping, 6 weeks the last I checked and his prices are competitive as well.

Here is one of the latest holsters I have ordered from him. It was originally ordered for my Springfield XD but the day I received it, I had also gotten my G38. I placed my G38 in the holster and it fit as if it was made for it.

Nice craftsmanship...
What features do you get that are not available in a normal holster?

I'm sorry for the delay in response. I missed your reply.
In the specific holster I have a picture of here, the belt loops were made wider for me. I like a little wider belt loop than Rgrizzle uses by default. This holster was also supposed to be made tan leather body with dark brown opening and loops. I always buy black leather so this was my first non-black holster. I didn't want the brown so he made a change to black Osterich for me. At least this way, what little shows when I am wearing it, shows as black on my black belts.
Other examples include a custom made IWB mag holster for a 1911 magazine and a SureFire 6P LED light. He made single and double mag holsters but I wanted one for a single mag and a light, in black leather.
