As I stated yesterday, we didn't really have time to shoot much as the range was closing on us. Today, I went to my local indoor range and put her through her paces. I fired a slow and steady 100 rounds just trying to get her to warm up a bit, and to get a better feel for the c-more. I spent the next 400 rounds double tapping, fast target transitioning, and rapid firing to better aquaint myself with the gun.
No fail to feeds, FTE's, but I did have about 25 FTF's that come from the softer striker springs. I made a quick switch in ammo to Federal Premium 165gr and had no further issues at all. After I put 200 rnds down range, I started to feel a serious difference is the cycle speed. The slide just became faster with each shot as the gun started to break in.
I am very glad I asked Bobby to under cut the trigger as it made a serious difference to the fit in my hand. I guess the only thing missing from it is a thumb rest, but that's all a personal preference. Flawless machine and I wish I could run it as well as it wants me to! The pic is of the 2nd box of 100 rounds where I did nothing but double taps from 20 yards out. I'm glad it came back looking like it did, because I was scaring the bejeezus out of the other people on the line. Trust me....while the comp REALLY does its job, it doesnt do anything for the nerves of others who've never been around one before. I hope this was informative, and didnt waste anyones time. Enjoy.

Looks like you're having a blast shooting your new Glock... Target looks great... Especially for 20 yard double taps... Cool that you can shoot double taps at an indoor range... The ranges down here don't allow rapid firing of any kind...
Did Bobby recommend any specific ammunition for your Impala? I would think it would be tuned for a specific bullet and load...

The only rule on double tap shooting and this is verbatim 'As long as you double tap in the right direction, we don't care!'.
Bobby actually gave me 4 different springs ranging from 22 lbs, to 12 lbs. He said he did that so as not to handcuff me. I let him know before I asked for the build that I don't reload (thought I should) and he promised to set me up to run whatever I wanted. I don't blame the gun, just the cheap ammo because after I switched to the Federals, I didn't have a single issue with it. Give me 2 more weeks, and you can run it at GSSF. just bring yourself some .40 165gr ball ammo, and go to town. I'm not stingy, lol.

Thanks for the offer... All of my .40 S&W is 180gr... But I'd still like to check out your new Impala! I'm curious how the red dot sight looks/works on a Glock...
I'm going over to Orlando GSSF Match on Sunday... If you see a guy walking around wearing a red Tampa Bay Buccaneers ball cap with Howard Leight Impact Sports green ear muffs, that's most likely me... Stop by and say hi...
