    Yes, I use Gun Butter exclusively on my Glocks. It's a lot more expensive than competing brands, but I won some Gun Butter at a match and since then I've become a believer. A little goes a long way.

    Sheesh, glad to hear it wasn't dust from the brass or copper cladding! I was concerned that the slide would sludge up with bullet dust residue, or whatever that sloodge was. Glad to hear it was just their grease and that it's ok that I spend time cleaning it out with toothpicks and whatnot. My gunshop recommended Militec-1 so that's what's in there now, came here to see what others thought of it. I put it on an old Beeman P1 air pistol I just picked up and it seemed to soak up the Militec like it was a sponge! Supposedly a good thing.
