Is there a list of GLOCK ARMORERS?

This is more a general maintenance question but I thought this was about as close as I could get.

Wouldn't you think that someone has compiled a list of Glock Armorers searchable by zip code. I've looked ALL OVER for this sort of listing and all I can find is an occasional sporadic referral to 'Big Al' or someone in the Florida keys or a list of all the dealers in the state.

I really want to get my G19 checked out by an armorer -- people tell me that it shoots too loud. Yeah, I know, that sounds nuts but several people have commented on it. I can't tell if it's louder or not, I have ear plugs on. I'm using Speer/CCI lawman 115 gr 9mm rounds.

Does anyone have a list or know of an armorer in the Leesburg, Ocala, Villages (32162 - 32159 zip code) area???

Anyone have a clue about why a gun would shoot loud?? Will it kaboom? Is there a way to 'fix' this?

Glock does not keep a public list of Glock Armorers...

115gr 9mm rounds are pretty light... I didn't look up the specifications of that specific ammo, but I imagine it's around 1150fps velocity... Faster than the speed of sound... That means that it breaks the sound barrier each time you shoot it... Some supersonic 9mm rounds are louder than some .45 subsonic rounds... Maybe that's it...

Who told you it was too loud?

Just tell your friends you had the volume adjusted and keep on shooting, Too loud.....really......I wonder how they would react to a .44 Mag? I always loved the way the line would go completely silent after the first round out of my S&W Model 29.....and then you would always hear the question. What the hell was that?

Several people have commented on it. They said it seems louder than people at the neighboring bays. Two were guys I shoot with every week and one was a RSO at my club.
I'm going to try some Federal rounds today and see if there is a difference with different ammo. I have a lesson scheduled and I'll ask the instructor if he can hear a difference between them.

I think you may be right about the velocity factor but it really seems to be a peculiar thing to have 3 or 4 different people independently say the same thing about ones gun...

Does seem odd... I wonder what the other people are shooting... Maybe a lot of 22's or something small...

I can't imagine anything wrong with the gun that would make it shoot louder than any other without having some obvious failures of some sort.
