No I haven't or do I NamVetJoe... I can't believe that the non solvent based moisture would be good for them, but after three kids I did have enough of them around the house!
    Welcome to the forum Sir

The active ingredient in baby wipes among things, depending on the brand, I wouldn't clean my guns with is alcohol. I use ethyl alcohol with a clean cotton rag or patch. It's clean and evaporates fast, or faster with a blast from a can of air.

don’t think the active ingredient in baby wipes is alcohol, but just to make sure I put a call in to my son. He told me that he uses generic baby wipes from Sweet bay supermarket and the package states that it is hypoallergenic and alcohol free. As I am the new kid (old man on the block) I don’t know if I can post links to u tube but I will try to find the video that indorses baby wipes

After five posts you should now be able to post pictures and links. I sent you a PM on how to do it.

Welcome to the Glock.Pro forum Joe glad you found us, lots of good folks here and tons of information. Also allow me to say Welcome Home Brother. The finish on Glocks is so hard that it will resist just about anything you can throw at it. As far as using Baby wipes I really can't see any need at all. If you are thinking about using them as cleaning rags there are lots better things on the market.....the best being FrogLube. There are several threads that will explain this so I will just let you read them. Again, welcome and thanks for your service!
The term "Undocumented Alien" is like calling a drug pusher an "Un-Licensed Pharmacist"

    Re: Baby wipes

I carry a pack in my range bag.... I have also torn some pieces off and put it on a cleaning rod... They work ok. Definately need the appropiate cleaning items.
