I read about this somewhere. What are the technical problems? Does the Glock 36 slide easily fit on the Glock 30 frame? Is this safe to shoot?
Does it fit? Yes
Tech problems? ?
Safe to shoot? Seems to be, many have done it.
While I have both a 30 and 36, I feel no desire to try it.
The first thing that pops into my head is WHY? You have two guns that shoot the exact same caliber, so why swap?
The slide isn't as thick and heavy on the 36.
There is under 5 ounces difference between the two complete assembled weapons. Are you really going to be able to feel the weight difference? I doubt it as I have them both as well and cant tell hardly any difference in the slides without using some type of measuring device. Just sounds like a waste of time to me. But to each is own good luck

pointless. the difference between the upper assemblies is negligible. the couple 'tards on ********* that have done it act like it's a world of difference. it's not.
Don't do it... "Just Sayin"
The shorter slide assists with appendix carry.
I don't have either gun. I was just curious.
I slid my 36 slide on my 30 body, went to range and liked it.I would not buy two guns to make it a full time carry piece,no point
