I found this Cleaner, Lube, and Protectorant during my research, it is called froglube and was made by a Navy Seals Captain and used by the SEALS and other prominent companies here is some reference FrogLube ~ Videos ~ It Just Works!.
FrogLube has been out for a minute, not sure on this product, Militec seems to still be favored by the sandbox from my sources
"While the anti-gunners seem very concerned about the "one life" that your firearm might take -- they are not very concerned about the lives it will save." Jon H. Gutmacher, Florida Firearms - Law, Use & Ownership.
Has anyone tried Froglube. How well has it worked for cleaning, protecting and lube for you?
I use frog lube and since I switched I have noticed that my cleaning times are reduced, my slide seems to move more freely, and I can clean my gun in the kitchen without my wife wanting to chop my head off.
I was skeptical at first but have since thrown out all my Hoppes. IMHO it is as good as the website says it is.

Another really great cleaner, lubricant and protectant is a product called Gunzilla. It was manufactured by a man who had heard that the CLP used by the military over in the sandbox would cause their guns to jam due to the petroleum base it contained and would eat away at the soldiers hands. More and more military and law enforcement have been using it and have reported that it is the best cleaner out there. The website is Top Duck Products, LLC., Creators of Superzilla and Gunzilla .
"What ever you train yourself to do in practice, you will do in a real situation"
I have not tried the Frog Lube, but currently, I am using Gunzilla. Gunzilla doesn't smell bad, and seems to work pretty good. I like it better than the mil-spec CLP, but as with everything - follow the directions to the T. In my experiences, Gunzilla doesn't do so well on copper. I know that Top Duck Products LLC has a Copperzilla (or something like that) for copper, but I haven't tried it.
I haven't tried (or seen locally) any of those. I'm a skeptic anyway, I gotta wait for a known performance record...
Being cheap, I mixed up a batch of "Ed's Red" for myself and a buddy. Don't remember where I first read about it, but it has high praise from users, and the ingredients are readily available. A search for Ed's Red will bring up a ton of sites!
Being a bit dated, it's not "Green friendly", but it's time-tested, and it works well for me!
Three equal parts of:
Dextron ATF (great lube by itself!)
Kerosene (clear heater type)
Mineral Spirits (cleaning solvent)
Optional: Acetone (nasty mean solvent!), Lanolin (keep the acetone from eating skin?), other stuff I forgot.
Store the mix in metal or PVC gas can plastic, as other plastics may melt = messy!
Being lazy, I'll first spray the parts with "Shooters Choice Quick-Scrub" spray, to get heavy crud off. Then brush parts with Ed's Red, another final shot of cleaning spray, then lube the few parts Glock wants lubed with Dextron, or other gun lube.
