The LoneWolf conversion barrel arrived today and I found one 9mm magazine over the weekend along with some ammo so ready to hit the range later this week to give it a try. I have three additional 9mm mags on back order from a internet store.

    G22 LoneWolf Conversion

What did you get for ammo ? Like I said in a earlier post. My gen 4 G22 needs 124 gr to cycle correct. With 115 gr I had issues, FTE and FTF

I found a box of 250 rounds of 115 gr at Academy Sports this morning. I will be using a G22 Gen 3 and will let everyone how it works after the range.

that seems to be the #1 malfunction with the conversion and the 124's solved it as it has been said so OP keep that in mind.

It is on my mind and will see how things workout when I make it to the range.

I just returned from the range and happy to report that I shot 50 rounds of Winchester FMJ 9 mm and 15 rounds of Winchester JHP 9mm through my conversion barrel without any problems. No eject or feed problems what so ever. So far I am happy with the conversion.

I also have a G22 and just out of curiosity, what are your objectives of having the conversion option? Availability? Personal preference?

I understand wanting multiple calibers for a single frame; I've considered it as well. But around here, .40 although hand-to-mouth, is available.
I haven't seen 9mm in person since before the first of the year. If I were to get a conversion kit, I might go .357 Sig, you can't swing a dead cat without knocking over
    a stack of that stuff.

-still wonder why different caliber availability differs so much according to region...

The main reason is the lower cost of 9mm which will save $$ overtime. Another benefit is that my wife can shoot with less recoil compared to the 40. For critical defense I will be using the 40 barrel so in other words the conversion is just for the range. From what I understand to convert to 357 you just have to drop in a G31 barrel.

The ammo shortage in the Dallas area seems to be getting better with all calibers in terms of availability.
