    G22 LoneWolf Conversion

I am thinking about getting a LoneWolf barrel 9mm for my G22 Gen 3 and looking for any advice or potential issues.

    Thanks,

    G22 LoneWolf Conversion

Here is a guy who did the conversion with a G27. Lets us know how it works if you go through with it.

Thanks for your post. I will, still have to order the Lone Wolf. Also I should mention that I would be using the conversion on the range only.

    G22 LoneWolf Conversion

I have one for my gen 4 G22. Works great. I do have to shoot 124 gr 9mm ammo. With the 115 I got way to many FTE and stove pipes. No issues with the 124 after 800 rds. And only use the conversion at the range.
I don't think you'll have the FTE problem with the gen 3. Different recoil spring on the gen 4.
Thinking about selling my conversion barrel . I've since added two 9 mm guns to the collection. And don't use it any more. Just not sure I want to give up anything I have with all the changing laws, especially here in Connecticut. Might not be able to replace it later.

For range only a barrel only may suffice. If you start to see reliability issues you may need to change the ejector and the extractor.

Thanks for the input, and I know how you feel about selling your conversion barrel. Down here in Texas I don't worry that much but you never know.

I will give it a try to see what happens on the range, for home defense it will remain stock.

Once I went to the 124 gr ammo it ran as reliable as it did right out of the box. A few hundred rds thru it and not one issue, Flawlessly
