Drove over to the sister range of the range where my 17L is safe, but unreceivable. Spoke to management, to try to find out when I'd be able to retrieve my pistol. Maybe early next week, but just maybe. Guy then says that he just got one in yesterday and would I like to fondle it? As I was fondling, took a look at price tag, just for a laugh. Was shocked that it was only $604! I'm contemplating driving back and buying it. Guess I could mount FFIII on one and Trijicon HDs on the other. Yes, I've lost my sanity!
Will you have to pay sales tax on the one from Buds? I got mine for 581.17 but had to pay 8.25% sales tax on top. No shipping or FFL though so tax was only a little more that those costs normally run me. I did run into a guy who bought two NIB Blue Label 17Ls last month - old serial numbers so they were new old stock. He didn't know if it had been Glock or the distributor who had been sitting on them.
The transfer fee is ok with me, because the FFL is so close by. I've temporarily come to my senses and didn't buy the $604 pistol...yet. Next project is .300 Blkout pistol for nightstand, suppressed, of course.
