    G42 or G43 EDC?

I have a 9mm already so when I went to look at buying my first Glock I wanted a different caliber then what I already have. So I looked at the 42 smooth shooting low recoil so much better to me than the "M&P Bodyguard trigger pull is awful". Then I was reading an article stating the Best 5 Glocks to own and wouldn't you know the 43 is right their or there whichever on the list so I started researching it and it looks good to just wanted some Glock owners Opinions thanks. Sorry for the grammar I have a secretary for this reason.

I have both. My wife shoots the 42 because she's more sensitive to recoil. Your best bet would be to go to a range that rents guns and try out the 43. 9mm ammo will be cheaper and more readily available.

I woulsn't trade my G43 for anything. I like the 9mm cartridge and the G43 is better than any single stack 9mm compact I've shot. I owned a Shield in 40, and the XDs in 9mm. The G43 is significantly better than either. I was deciding between the Shield in 9mm and the G43, and decided the G43 was a better fit for me. I'm glad I made this choice.

I still might get a Shield later, for an option, but the G43 is phenomenal.

Between the two I would go with the G43.

That's unusual... Most times, people want the same caliber so they can share ammunition between guns...

I've never shot a 42, but I have a friend who carries one, and he likes it... I do have a 43 and really like it... When Glock came out with the 42, I decided to wait and see if they would come out with a similar gun in 9mm... and they did... so I bought one...

Good suggestion to shoot them both, if you can...

I got my daughter a 42. It is a sweet little pistol. But I prefer my 43 for EDC. I have Strike Industries +2 extensions on the mags for 8 +1 capacity. IMO you can't go wrong with either pistol but if you already have a 9mm I go with the 43.

    G42 or G43 EDC?

Would rather have more than the 6+1 rnds than the 43 holds. My EDC is a G17 gen 4 and G30 gen 4 in a N82 Professional holster. All day carry comfort.

I have several Glocks in my carry rotation. One is a G43. I have (5) Mags, (4) have a Pierce +1 floor plate for 7 +1 and the 5th one has a Ghost +2 spring and floor plate for 8 + 1. I shoot a lot. I have had no issues with any of the mags.
