Glock 43 firing pin issues? Help

Helping another person out trying to find the cause of his issues.

    His story.

I don't use the 43 much I decided to practice with it for better familiarity & no problems, all rounds fired fine for 4-5 mags & at the end I was gonna use some dummy rounds mixed with live rounds for malfunction clearance. SHTF here... Every time I tried to clear the malfunction the thing would lock up to the point I had to take it apart & get the round out that way, tried another mag same thing. The snap cap rounds performed fine in my G19 for a test on them, so the snap cap rounds are ok. So I Completely disassembled the g43 & nothing out of sorts. I put it back together, repeated the process & same thing. Then just through trying to solve the problem & observing all the mechanisms & workings of the gun I discovered that if I point the muzzle up the striker would fall back into the channel & I can eject the round! Every time I pull the trigger it would click & if I try to clear it no dice, but lean it back wiggle it & let the striker go back & it would eject. It fires live rounds fine & ejects the spent casing. Sooooo...

Soooo, snap caps are not chamber-proving dummies. Chances are, chamber-proving dummies would work in both Glocks.

In this case, the problem is Glock-proving dummies.

Never heard the term "chamber-proving dummies" before... I usually just load a few rounds without powder or primers and use them...

That's strange OP. Honestly, I have never heard of that happening. Have you tried to contact Glock, and see if their technical people could explain what they think is happening?
