    Lightbulb polygonal, hexagonal, octogonal rifling, what is the differance?

    polygonal rifling is shaped like an arc, whereas conventional rifling is squared off at the edges.


    hexagonal and polygonal rifling seals in the gasses slightly better, as there's no 90degree crevice for gas to escape through ahead of the bullet. for this same reason, lead buildup can cause overpressure problems. it does not increase velocity to any noticeable degree as glock claims (maybe a 10fps increase at the most), but it is far easier to get clean as a whistle than standard rifling.

    , yes very true its a lot easier to clean and maintain with polygonal rifling, I believe it makes it more accurate, don't it?
