On my 26 I have Tru Dots, and a plug. It came with 2 different kinds of +0 mag extensions and I've since taken both of them off.
I did buy a handful of blue baseplates to put on my .40 magazines when I had a .40
They're all gone now so I put 2 of them my 10 round mags, nice contrast to the black.
This is as far as I'll ever go on a Glock other than having the lower half duracoated, an likely never on this specific gun.
This space for rent
I will be adding night sights and that will be it.
Lotsa ppl in this thread that we haven't seen in a while... where'd ya go??
OK, I am new to Glocks, so I have to ask a couple of questions.
Quite a few people in this thread have said they added extended slide release levers. I have read that your really supposed to rack the slide to release the slide. not use the lever. IF thats the case, whats the point of the extended slide release?
Secondly, I have kind of small hands and find it difficult to press the mag release. Basically my thumb is to short to reach the mag release unless I turn the gun in my hand to the left. It would seen beneficial for me if the mag release button was more to the rear of the grip. Does the extended mag release just move the face out from center? Or does someone make a button that moves it closer to the rear?
All of my Glocks have Rubber Decal Grips and Butt Plugs. When carried in any holster except Kydex they have Trigger Blocks.
The extended slide stops is purely preference for me when breaking down the firearm, manually locking the slide back etc..
On the mag release, with a proper firing grip, assuming you are right handed, a good way to resolve this issue is to pull the firearm back into your workspace (jlweems has a great video on this on this forum). Using your support hand index finger, slightly rotate the firearm to your left, towards you, which will bring the mag release in line with your thumb. With a little practice, it becomes second nature and very easy. The extended mag releases cut into my hand when firing for longer periods of time.

If Glock did'nt think it needed it then I don't think it needs it. That being said I am thinking of Night Sights.
Agreed for the most part. GLOCK makes a lighter/heavier trigger disconnect. They make extended mg releases, and slide stops. They make night sights (although I would by Ameriglo or another 3rd party Sights)etc.. These types of mods I believe in.
They do not make tungsten guide rods, titanium trigger inserts, plutonium widget disconnect tubes, and nuclear tipped spring housings. These are the types of things that I don't think are necessary and often CAUSE the firearm to function incorrectly.
