Maybe some people just posted their answer and didn't vote. Not sure why they would do that but could be the issue, OR it's a conspiracy.

Yes, it needs a rail. Then it can do home-defense duty.

I wouldn't mount anything on that size weapon personally, but I wouldn't fault someone who did.
If guns and gun owners are so dangerous, Why are there never any mass murders at the gun range??
