    Single stack 9mm?

FWIW, while at the range today, I talked to one of the old guys that works at Franklin's in Athens and he thinks Glock will have a single stack 9mm ready to go this summer. I asked him if this was just a rumor or did he have a reliable source. He said a reliable source. Anybody else hearing anything about this?

Well, since there are now some Glocks that are made from all US parts, maybe the single stack 9mm is now a possibility. Keeping my fingers crossed! Who was the well-connected person who predicted the 25th anniversary G17? Maybe they could check their sources.

Don't know, but it got me thinking. I'm guessing you're looking for a slim subcompact for concealed carry, kinda like a pocket gun maybe. A Glock equivalent of the Ruger LCP or the Kel-Tech in 9mm instead of 380? Heck, now that I think about it, if that's the case, I want one to carry in the summertime when cargo shorts and a tank top are the "uniform of the day"
If guns and gun owners are so dangerous, Why are there never any mass murders at the gun range??

Exactly! Kahr is supposed to be coming out with an affordable version of the PM9 and I was thinking of trying one of those, but I think I will wait a little while to see if the Glock single stack 9mm is really in the works for this summer.

Melissa, define "old guy"' , "rumor", and "reliable source". And to quote mvician, "Nope".

I think we'd all like to see a small 9mm Glock pocket gun...

Glock would have to come out with a completely new design though...

They're still trying to finish up the carbine...

I'd be surprised if glock came out with a ss 9mm.

They never seem to make any common sense design changes that many people desire, like dumping the finger grooves for example.

Little hint on the guys at Franklins ... they like to talk more than the amount of real information they have to share.

I have a couple of pretty good sources and usually have wind of new GLOCK products before they are released. The single stack 9mm isn't one of them, especially by this summer. No way, no chance. I don't even think we'll see the Gen4 G34 by this summer now and it's already been released in Europe on some scale.

Cheap Kahr ... don't they have another less expensive series? I have read reviews that said the cheaper ones weren't much different but I have no experience with Kahr at all.
