Who uses cut-out decals / grit tape on their GLOCK?

I'm talking about those pre-cut decals type grip enhancements kits.

I've always thought they were gimmicky and as recently as 2 weeks ago removed them from a used G19 I picked up online.

After purchasing a G19 RTF2 I really want to enhance the grip on my IDPA G17 a little. Currently, I have a thin strip of ladder tape running down the rear portion of each side panel. It works but I was toying with the idea of trying a decal set. This would be strictly for my IDPA gun so I'm not worried about what grit tape will do to cover garments, etc.

Who can point me to (or away from) a decent kit? Pics and/or links please.

    Thanks in advance.

I liked it ok enough. I like my G4s better but it worked at the time. Plus at $10 it won't break the bank

On a few of mine I have a small piece of skateboard tape for where my palm heel contacts the frame.

I have tried the Talon grip or whatever it is called but immediately took it off. It worked too good in that it was hard to make a grip adjustment.

I've been thinking of trying a rubberized decal grip.

I snagged some skateboard tape from JL. I put several pieces in key areas. I took most of it off but left a large piece on the side that meets my firing hand palm.

Go with Talon Grip.. They feels good. Your hand won't slide around but Skateboard tape is a cheap alternative

I used the Talon grip......wore down too fast I thought and the backstrap piece always wanted to shift around for me.

Trying out a TruGrip now. I like it MUCH better.

I hasd the talon grips before I went with my Gen 4 19, they were awesome, even kinda held my shirts in place like velcro when carried IWB. They were only 9.99 and ship with just a stamp, hopefully they haven't gobe up.

    Tru-Grip

Tru-Grip fits really well. I had it on my G17 and really liked it. I also bought some 1911 front strap tape and cut it down for the Glock's dust cover. Realizing that CCw isn't really what Tru-Grip is for, I carrried concealed anyway and found that the grit grabbed my cover garment, and I feel it would have worn it as well. Last week, I bought a soldering iron and stippled the heck out of my G17, so I won't be using Tru-Grip anymore, but not because it's not a good product.
