My first Glock was a Gen 2 Glock 22. I remember it like it was yesterday. My uncle had one at a family reunion in the 90's. While hiking, it slipped out of his holster, bounced down the side of a steep rocky hill and into a creak. He spent the next couple days looking for it. As luck would have it, we found it and there was nothing wrong with it. I remember saying, "I have to get one of those."![]()
My first Glock was a 27 that I bought while in the academy. It was also the first centerfire pistol that I ever bought.
My first handgun was my first GLOCK. I had just graduated college and moved to a city that at the time had the highest per capita murder rate in the US. I went to a gun show and purchased a Gen2 LE trade-in G22 with a couple of 10rd mags. I owned it for approx 6 years. I moved away from .40s&w as a caliber and went with mostly compacts. I regret selling it now as I feel some sentimental attachment. I have contacted the guy I sold it to and asked that he keep me in mind in the event he ever wishes to sell it.
My first (and so far only) Glock is my G19. Got it about 3 months ago. It's also the first handgun my girlfriend has shot. She was pretty proud of herself that day at the range, as was I.
My first glock G23c bought it from a pawn shop for 400.00 with night sites and 2 10 rd mags .. Upgraded to a 22# spring ss guide rod and tas sight love it will never get rid of my baby
My first glock wasnt my first pistol. My first pistol was a ruger p95. Jammed all the time. I sold it to a sucker than decided to buy a Taurus 40cal and 9mm. They were actually nice guns for 350$. But I eventually got tired of them and since im not rich I had to sell them to get something new. So I bought a M&P .45 for concealed carry. I loved that thing. Buuuut im not a big guy so when I carried it, it damn near pulled down my pants. So I traded it for a rifle. One day my grandpa and a friend of mine went shooting in the woods where we always shoot near my house. My friend had brought a friend of his own. A sheriff. He let me shoot his duty glock 17. It was great! accurate, reliable, and sleak. No gimmicks. My uncle who is a stater carrys a G23, so I new there was something good about them. I then purchased a 3rd gen 32 (i love the sig round) A G26 for concealment. And finally my new baby (only 200 rounds ran threw it so far) 4th gen G22.
Nice find Chefjpg!
