    Suggestions for my next Glock

I know this topic is beat to death but, I keep going back and forth on my next Glock. It is going to be a 9mm for sure, I just can't decide between: Gen 3 19, 26; Gen 4 19, 26. I am not trying to start a Gen 3 vs Gen 4 fight. I firmly believe that any problems have been finally worked out. To be honest, one of the reasons I am conflicted between the two generations is the price....I can get the Gen 3s cheaper than Gen 4's. Another way to say that is; if they were the same price, I would just be deciding between the Gen 4 19 or 26. The reason I want a 9mm is I have been shooting my older 19 a lot lately and found a new appreciation for it. So any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Frank.

If you already have a Glock 19... then I'd get a 26... They are great carry guns and shoot well... The 3rd gen 26 is already dual spring, so not as much reason to go 4th gen... However, I have a 4th gen 26 and like it a lot...

I also have a Gen 4 26 that I like a lot. It's my EDC and the gun I currently use to shoot IDPA with. It does everything I need it to do.

Unless you really like the larger mag catch, the back straps or the grip pattern on the gen4, why pay the extra money? I'd vote for the G26 if you already have a 19.

I hear what you are saying, after some thought, I decided to get the G26.

I am actually having trouble making up my mine. I might just buy whatever one he has in stock at the time....he sells more G26 and 19s more than any other. So I guess I will leave it up to fate. As soon as I pick it up after Christmas, I'll post a thread.

Get a G17L while you can.... They're nearly sold out for the current production run, and then they won't be readily available for another 3 years. If you are enjoying shooting 9mm, you'll LOVE shooting a G17L!
