I had a buddy who had a G22 with an NY2 trigger spring setup in it, and when he would start to apply trigger pull pressure, the pull was so heavy that he would jerk/flinch because he couldn't keep a slow steady pull. I swapped the NY2 out for a factory S spring and did a .25 cent trigger job on it, and my buddy turned into a force to be reckoned with after the trigger was lightned.
That would make a great how-to article... or maybe a Blog... Throw in a few nice pictures...
I saw a Glock Armorer installing a lighter spring in a Glock 30 at the gun shop the last time I went there to shoot. It looked like he was having a tough time getting the trigger assemble out and back in correctly... The customer was standing there breathing down his neck, so maybe he was just nervous...
The trigger assembly looks like pretty thin metal to me... Seems like you should handle it carefully so it doesn't bend and get out of alignment...

my wolff heavy competition spring for my g19 also came with a lightweight striker, and safety plunger spring, but i didn't install those ones because of reading about issues like these.
