I've been reading comments by people night sights all over the internet. I personally like the TruGlo ones and I've seen they offer different colored front and rear sights. One poster made what I thought was a great comment. He said that at night, you could look at the three green dots and while they are in line, you could have the front sight to the left then the back sights make up the middle and right sight picture. It seemed possible to me. He said he preferred a yellow front and green back so that you could easily tell where the front sight was exactly.
If you use TruGlo's what's your opinion? Even if you don't, does this seem possible and a good way to avoid having your Glock pointed out of the direction you think you are shooting because it's dark out?
While it would be possible to misalign the dots such they were out of order it is highly unlikely. To be that far off your grip would have to be turned to the point you should know you are not pointed in the correct direction. Try it.
The reason most folks like different color dots isn't due to the potential for misalignment. They/we usually prefer green up front and yellor or orange on the rear because the green is brighter, thus stands out better. The yellow or orange dots are less bright. They are still visible in low/no light but aren't as visually distracting as another set of bright green lamps would be.

I haven't bought yet but I'm thinking the fiberoptic/tritium sights would be great in all light levels.
I bought the TFO's. Theyre great sights for plinking.
In my opinion, night sights are useless. Bad guys dont glow in the dark. If you cant see your target, you probably shouldnt shoot at it. Besides, by the time it would take to acquire a sight picture in the dark, you probably wouldnt have a chance to pull the trigger.
