I am using a stainless steel guide rod and 22 pound spring and have noticed a considerable amount less felt recoil and faster target followup. Wanted to see other people's input concerning both stainless and tungsten as I don't have tungsten and am interested. Thanks
Running stock. Have you had any problems with FTE's or Stovepipes due to the lighter spring? Are you running premium ammo or range stuff?
No FTE's what so ever, and running a 22 pound spring not a 17 pound spring and it has been a year and thousands of rounds. I have ran premium stuff, range stuff, and a wide range of ammo and it just spits it out.
I'm not sure what I was thinking when I saw the 22. Obviously, it's a Monday.![]()
I am using a tungsten 17# spring and have problems to date with about 500 rounds down the pipe.
If you cannot stand behind our troops please feel free to stand in front of them.
Thanks for the input
I can honestly say the only problems that I have personally seen with Glocks is when people use after market parts. I keep mine completely stock.
