    1 more in the collection!

So I posted a few weeks back about getting a new glock with my tax return. Well I ordered one and i just got it yesterday. A 4th gen glock 37! This thing is awsome. Its like my glock 22 is in my hands except it's tossing 230 grains of nasty down range!

Now granted I havent shot it yet. But my next day off is thursday and i have a few freinds that wanna burn some rounds in their AR's, so i figure its as good a time as any to see what this thing can do. Depending how this range time will go, which its a glock so...you know it should go fine, but I dont think i can ever go back to acp. I mean serious the grip and frame size is perfect. I have always loved .45 but disliked the fact that the frame was so large, well with the 37 problem solved.

I will write a good range report thursday night. I will be putting down 500 rounds. 100 185gr. lawman, 100 200gr. american eagle, and 300 230gr. winchester white box. We will see just what this thing likes to eat. plus its been a while since the g22 got to eat something and like i tell my wife"my guns are starving you know they need to eat just like everyone else".

BTW did anyone else by something great with a tax return? like a glock or some fun stuff for the glock you own?Name: IMG_0587.JPG

That's a pretty little shooter there. I'd love to get my hands on a 37 or 38. I'm not getting anything with my tax return but my college graduation is coming up and I'm discussing with the parents the thought of adding an AR or Kimber 1911 to my collection. Only problem is I can't decide which one I want more! LOL!

Awesome. I'm going to Hawaii this year so my tax return will go in the cash pile.

Congrats on a very cool shooter! The .45 GAP is a terrific round, especially if you reload, and rates high on the "Cool Meter" as well. Enjoy!

I was looking seriously at the G38 until I saw the price of Speer's 230 gr GDHP's from Midway...$26/20!!. I'd for sure have to reload for this one.

    Congrats on your new 37...

I'm sure there is quite a GAP between it and the old .45 ACP Glocks...

Congrats ! My tax return is gong for a trip for the wife and I to Mardi Gras in New Orleans! I guess I will just have to be content with my collection of 7 Glocks for now. BTW went to the Fort Worth Gun Show today and had the 3.5 put in the G33,36 and 20. This leaves only the G17 GEN 4 that is completly stock.
