I was at a gun & knife show Saturday. Very few vendors had OD Glocks. I talked to one guy and he said he wasn't going to be able to get anymore. Don't know if he was just saying that becuase he thought I was a potential buyer. But I would say that out of all the glock displays, less than 5% were OD.
This is my new Glock, the previous owner installed a Ghost 3.5# connector, a tungsten guide rod, and an adjustable sight. I took it to the range last week for the first time and it ran through 90 rounds flawlessly and I was ringing the 100yd turkey silouette with ease. Very pleased!
I picked up my new G19 OD Saturday from Ed's Public Safety.
This is my 5th G19, but my first in OD. This is also the second purchase I have made from Ed's. Both times I have dealt with a very polite, well informed, and EXTREMELY COURTEOUS young lady named Emily.
I would recommend anybody visiting to try and deal with her. She is a real pleasure to work with.
I know it looks just like all the others, but for some reason, it seems to look a little better than the others I have seen. Maybe it is because this one is in my house, and not another persons house???
Emily also found me a real nice Glock Hoodie while I was there!!
I had a few hours to my self over the weekend and did a little work to my EDC G27 to finish it up. I took the factory sights off and swapped them for the Trijicons on my G22. So now I have some night sights on my EDC pistol. Also, I get the "Glock-Knuckle" really bad from any Glock smaller than a full size model. So, I did a little undercut massaging and rounding on the bottom of the trigger guard. Its perfect now. Check out the pics.
