I'd have bought a G17L when they were easy to find.
If guns and gun owners are so dangerous, Why are there never any mass murders at the gun range??
Started my Glock Career with a 2nd Gen G19 & bought two more G19s over the years..
Later went with a G17 & then scored a G17L & G26..
Wish I would have held on to one of those minty 2nd Gen G19s..
Will find another someday..
I'm glad my G19 was my first Glock, plenty of rounds, full grip, very comfortable, good HD gun that I was looking for. I wish my second purchase would've been the G26 instead of my Rugar LCP. now that my wife doesn't want me to get anymore, I would've had TWO glocks instead of one. I'm waiting till the water calms, if that doesn't help, I'll trade the LCP and get the G26 I've been longing for.
I bought my Glocks in this order - 19, 30, 30SF, 36, 26, 39, Gen4 26, Gen4 19, Gen4 17. Of those, I have kept the Gen4s and the 30SF. Like Volgrad, I feel that I'm moving in the direction of all 9mm, but can't quite let go of the 30SF yet. So, if I had to start from scratch, I would buy a pair of Gen4 19s (one for each hand)and some 17 rounds mags. The 26 is a great gun, but I like the longer grip of the 19. Plus, my new Kahr PM9 works in a pocket and the 26 doesn't.
Well I literally just purchased my first handgun and did it because it was a good deal. I had been looking at a sig but instead this 2nd gen g22 fell into my lap and I must say that I am so glad that it did!! It has been very nice shooting and I am glad it us my first.

I wouldn't change anything. I bought a 21 first. I preference the. 45 and the large frame guns. I bought a 22 RTF w/ gills next. Then I got a 19 because I wanted a 9mm and a compact for more concealment. Finally I bought a 30 for EDC comfort. I still like the larger frames. I carried the 22 yesterday and after fondling it for a while I realized I missed the feel of the full frame. I am happy with my acquisitions and the order in which they were acquired.
Don't retreat! Reload!!!
Welcome to Glock.pro!
Good choice on the 22...
