yeah i agreeYes, I rack the slide on a stovepipe as there is a good chance that there will be a feeding issue with the subsequent round, including the lack of a round being fed.
-Fear the man with only one gun
Are you sure he does this for a stovepipe? I'm with jlweems on this one. Double feeds get the extra treatment. All else is probably going to get tap, rack, bang. In the case of a stovepipe which is clearly visible I would skip the tap and just rack & bang.
Dropping mag, rack rack rack, etc. will work. Yes it takes longer. No it isn't necessary. Again, it's about getting back in the fight as quickly as possible. Under stress dropping/re-inserting mags can get tricky if you haven't trained out the bugs.
With all due respect ...
May I ask why you are making videos and posting them online? Specifically, what is the purpose? Are you making them for yourself so you can see what you are doing ... as a training tool for yourself? In that same vein are you only posting them for us to critique ... like in the first post? Are you making and posting them to teach others?
I mean absolutely NOTHING by that question. I'm just curious.
I would have watched your video but it's been taken down..
Oh Well..
