Thumbs up Glock 26 in RTF2?

I bought a G26 yesterday. It definitely isn't a gen4 and isn't a gen2.5 b/c finger grooves are textured. Gun shoots perfect and is freakishly accurate for it's size. However my only question is if the 26's came in RTF2 because the slide is definitely textured compared to my 19 and 17C. I have been looking on Google and haven't been able to find anything about them making gen3 G26's in RTF2 but I could be wrong. The guy didn't mention anything about aftermarket coating the slide when I bought it? Any help would be great. I love the gun just sort of curious I suppose.

To my knowledge, Glock never manufactured any subcompacts in RTF2. The only slide difference with the RTF2 guns, was the rear cocking serrations which were curved and are commonly referred to as "fish gill" slide serrations; other than that, the finish, etc. on the slides were exactly the same. I can almost promise you that it is not an RTF2, though I would be curious to see pictures of it if you are able.

Welcome to the Forum too, by the way.

Here is picture of an RTF2 Glock 19 that I found on Google. Note the fine, aggressive grip texture and curved rear cocking serrations:

These arnt the greatest pictures but one is the 26 and one is the 26 laying next to the regular 17 for comparison. not sure if you can see it in the photos or not but the 26 has the super fine grip. even if it is after market whoever did it did a good job. wouldn't mind having the 19 and 17c done

The finish on Glock's slides have varied over the years.... Older Glock slides were very dark and shiny... Almost black. Lately, the Austrian slides are lighter in color and more "satin" than "gloss" finish.

The RTF guns referred to the texture of the frame and sometimes, a "curved gill" grip cut on the slide. Your G26 appears, IMHO, to be a stock gen3 G26. Great pistols.

Here's my family photo sans the new 42... The rtf2 is easy to spot, IMO.
