    [Look for] Magwell

A lot of people use them for the grip improvement. It helps mitigate muzzle flip. I bought a cheaper polymer magwell from the Glock Store for my 19 just to try the concept. I didn't like how it squished my fingers together. So I put it on my 17 and let me tell you it's probably the best accessory I've ever purchased for a Glock. It instantly dropped my plate rack times.
I would like to try one of the smaller ones like the AA for my 19, but $100 is a lot to take a chance on.

I have one of those on my G34 that I compete with. For the money ($13) it works very well. I had one in my G17, but wanted a smaller one, so I got the Suarez. I still have a couple of the plastic ones laying around I need to get pistols for.

    Greetings to all,
I fit on my G19C a magwell Agency Arms (AA-MAGWELLGEN3-BLK).
Half of magazines (three of six) lightly touches the pad against the magwell and the magazine do not hookup.
If I push my thumb very strong on the pad you can hear the click of the happened hooking but in a normal magazine change do not get the hookup.
Does anyone have experience on this?
I can file slightly the pad, otherwise i can return to the shopkeeper the magwell and I can change it.

But first I want to know if it is normal or not.
    Thankyou

If your gun serves a self defense purpose, my choice would be to return the magwell and stay with a more stock configuration.

If it's purpose is competition, I'd keep the magwell and use longer G17 mags. This will eliminate any distance issues caused by the magwell.

As far as half your mags fitting and half not, are they all the same generation of mag?

Wow! I've never seen a 9mmx21 magazine before, didn't even know Glock made them until now. Standard 9mm is 9x19, from what I'm reading 9x21 was created for countries that ban cartridges used by military (like Italy). Not having experience with the cartridge, I can't tell you if there are any differences with the magazines. You may need to contact Glock to find out.

What I can tell you is the 3 magazines on the right are older, Gen3 and prior. The magazines on the left are Gen4. My guess would be the Gen4s are working for you and it's the Gen3s you're having difficulty with. I know that from the original "U" notch mags Glock first came out with and the current Gen4 mag, the magazine is slightly longer and the notch is a bit higher from the base to accommodate the overall added length. I don't have a mag the same age as your Gen3 to compare against a Gen4 but it wouldn't surprise me if the 4 is slightly higher.

It looks like the followers on the non-9x21 mags are different between the Gen4 and Gen3 (the one with tape), so I suspect there is quite a bit of time between when they were made.

Again, I'm having to do a lot of conjecture because I don't know how different (if at all) mags for 9x19 are from 9x21

9×21mm (left) and parent 9×19mm Parabellum (right) cartridges

I would think that as the round head-spaces by the rim, the follower should not matter as long as it delivers the round up to the chamber, unless there is a variance in the geometry at the extractor.

    Greetings to all,
    I've modified one pictures.
The magazines five and six are the original magazines came with the gun in the same box and they work perfectly with the magwell.
Magazines three and four (with tape) that don't works absolutely. (I have one twin, not in the picture)
Magazines one and two, lightly touches the pad against the magwell but that works.

    Completely identical.
The 9x21 is simply an 9x19 extended of two millimeters on the neck.
The overall length it's the same and, in the 9x21 the bullet fit two millimeters extra in the case.

So opposite what I expected. If you decide to trim be careful, taking the notch higher will lower the top of the mag/position of the round.

You may not need enough change to matter, but keep it in mind.
