    [Look for] Magwell

    Greetings to all.

I want to buy a magwell, little, compatible for concealedcarry in IWB holster.
    I have seen this one:
    Agency Arms Gen 3 Magwell

Very nice but costs $ 100 plus shipping cost. I don't know if it's worth it.

    Does anyone know this article?

Do you have some feedback on this?

    Thank you,
    Arturo Mandi

I don't know of that specific model.
But for me mag wells are for race guns not personal defense unless it's an off body carry gun.
Practice your draw and mag changes, with and unloaded weapon of course, till you can do it with your eyes closed.

I just recently got the Suarez International magwell for my Glock 17. It added very little length to the bottom of the grip and very little width. It added no weight at all and was less than $80 shipped. I don't know if they will ship to Italy though.

US weapons export laws do not count for holsters. It does with certain sights and scopes as well as weapons themselves, but not holsters that I know of anyway.

Magwells and other gunparts are typically covered under the ITAR regulations. Alot of companies will not ship overseas as a rule. The OP was asking about magwells, not holsters.

YMMV, but Ive been shooting matches for about 2 years now... bone stock.

    IMHO magwells are over rated.

Ive seen them on the firing line... it only appears to be beneficial for the *truly* champ level shooters, of which... there are very few that we will meet unless we go to a state or better yet, a national match.

One guy at the match last month had a custom stippled G17 and fancy magwell. My speed and accuracy (what matters most in a match, right?) was still better... with a bone stock out the box 17.4... and I must admit, I think I suck as a shooter.

So shinny balls and dangly bling may be cute, but sight picture and trigger press will always be superior.

YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary. It comes from car advertisements where they stated the car's gas mileage but used a disclaimer that your actual mileage per gallon may vary. It was later proven that it varied a lot YMMV is used to indicate you may have a different experience than the writer.
