    Advanced GLOCK Trigger Tuning

Heres a little video I made, featuring some advanced trigger tuning tweaks you can do to further lighten up and smooth out the trigger pull on your GLOCK pistol. I would really only recommend it on target and competition guns only because it could possibly get you into some legal hot water if you used these tweaks on a defense gun and had to use it. These tweaks really do help to lighten up the trigger with a few easy steps and you don't have to spend the big $ anymore on aftermarket parts to get a sweet trigger pull out of your GLOCK.

    good instructional video, boom

some folks might have a problem seeing which parts you're pointing out because the camera was zoomed out so far. i knew what you were referring to, though

you covered subjects often overlooked in the .25 cent trigger job. good job.

    Good video, Boomer!

I think that anyone attempting to do this knows what parts he's talking about...

Have either of you guys tried one of the heavier trigger springs? I've heard that a lot of people like them... they are supposed to lighten the trigger another half pound...

    http://glockparts.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=6817

They aren't a Glock part, so they aren't actually legal for GSSF... Have a friend that puts one of these springs in every time he installs a "-" connector... He swears by them.

yeah i have the wolff heavier trigger spring in my g19. does shave a half pound off the trigger pull. although it doesn't snap the trigger back on the reset with as much force (if that matters).

if you do get one, make sure it's the wolff one, as the the glockmeister one is known to break (the one on glockparts is made by glockmeister. they're not made by wolff despite what many believe).

__jb, I would argue that a lot of time people watch a video online or hear about something on the internet and run home and try it, regaardless of if they know what they are doing or not.

I think boomer did a good job with the video and like his disclaimer at the beginning.

    Hey Boomer,

Could you insert some close-up shots of the parts? I couldn't see exactly what you were pointing at in some parts of the video.

    That's a great tip... Thanks!

I have been practicing shooting from the break point and I like the way the stock Glock trigger spring resets.

Good tip on the Wolf trigger springs... Thanks.

I will not be using one because I like to keep all Glock parts on my Glocks. Partly it's because I trust Glock and partly it's because I want to remain GSSF legal. I doubt that Glock would ever discover a non-Glock trigger spring at a GSSF match, but I don't like to cheat.
