I went to Ken Lunde's wallpaper page and looked at some high res images of a G34 mine looks the same, so I am probably OK.
Just looked in the Glock Armorers Manual and the two slide stop levers are the same except the extended slide stop lever has the triangular extended portion added to the end of the standard lever... that makes it longer.

The factory extended slide stop lever in my Glock 17L is positioned just like yours... I wouldn't worry about it...

We have our annual Polar Bear match in 2 weeks. Hopefully everyone de-greases their pistols this time and just lightly lubes. Near the end of the day some slides were slowing down during recoil. The high end 1911's were particularly feeling it. CLP all the way!!

As to barrel length, the G17 is of legal length as it comes from Glock (114mm) A 107cm barrel would be a little unwieldy at 42 inches.
