Hey guys. First time gun owner and boy did i blow it. I accidentally slid my glock on wrong and here is what im left with. It is a Glock 22 by the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is embarrassing enough having done this however feel free to rip me for my ignorance.
I can't tell from your pic... Have you removed the Magazine?

First... Don't stress too much... even if you break something, it will not be much to repair. What is happening is that your recoil spring is caught on the extractor. Have you tried lifting the front sight end and sliding the slide assembly back at the same time? If not, try that.

It's probably stuck on the Guide Rod.
It looks like the front of the slide is ramped up (not making it flush with the frame)
Is it cocked on there or flush?

If it's cocked (not flush) try pulling back slightly and tilting the back side up.
Oh and make sure the trigger is still pulled back to the rear and the take down tabs are down.

Tried lifting the front end and sliding back at the same time, this just made the spring even more compressed and the slide go back further. I also tried pulling back slightly and tilting the back side up to no avail.
It is not flush with the frame. The front end is sticking up with the spring tightened
Try to compress the recoil spring from the front with a pen.... if you can get the spring loose from the slide you may be able to remove it...
