Seeing as how i am completely new to handguns, much less glocks... I have no idea what would be classified as normal wear on the components.
Currently i am noticing a line forming on the barrel where apparently the recoil spring is coming in contact with it. Is this normal? I have put about 500ish rounds through it now and everytime i clean the gun i make sure the back of the spring housing is seated in the rounded portion of the barrel where its supposed to sit. Is the spring supposed to be rotated to a certain point?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
This is my Glock. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.
yep, my gen4 has it too. it's the new recoil assembly slightly contacting the underside of the barrel. no worries![]()
Good to know! Thanks for the reply
