There has not been a recall for the ejector... The only recall, or Gen4 Spring Exchange as Glock calls it, has been for the recoil spring assemblies. Like I said, I don't know if Glock contacted individual owners.
I suspect the Trigger Mechanism Housings with the new Ejector will be available some day... Remember that all the parts available through online sites are third party parts... Glock will not sell parts to civilians. Glock only sells parts to Glock Certified Armorers, LEO's, Military, etc... That's one of the benefits of becoming a Glock Certified Armorer.
You are absolutely correct... Glock does not approve of anyone but Glock Certified Armorers working on their guns. That's why Glock only sells parts to Glock Certified Armorers... Glock wouldn't notify an individual about a recall for parts that they would not send out... There would be no point in that!

I called Glock yesterday and asked about my glock 19 gen 4 ejecting brass to the face. They told me the same thing (find a cga and we will send them the part) I told them I did not have one in my area and asked to send it in. I asked if they would be covering the shipping, and they emailed me a fed-ex overnight label. He said that there is an updated ejector that they will replace in the gun.

Just called Glock to get them to ship a new extractor for my G19. I had the armorer's name and address ready and the guy at Glock said the armorer would have to call them himself. So much for that. Guess I'll have to get in touch with him and ask him to call. Seems that they're giving out more than one answer depending on who you get on the line. Oh well. No big thing just a little more of a nuisance. Don't see why they're making such a chore out of it.
If Glock would just put the new ejectors into the newest Gen4 trigger housings and let the online retailers get their hands on them, 90+% of people with this problem would just fix it themselves.

New part #'s for Gen4 9/40/357 trigger housings with ejectors, I suppose this means that soon the newest Gen4 trigger housings will have the new ejectors in them. Also interesting that both new part #'s are exactly one digit added to each new ejector number, ejectors 30274 and 28926, part #'s 30275 and 28927.SP 07745 Trigger Mechanism Housing w/ejector 9mm Gen4 - DISCONTINUED

I'd just like my armorer to call me and tell me he had my new ejector. I could have driven to Smyrna and had them do it there quicker.
