Glock has a new ejector for Gen4 to fix that problem, the ejector that's in the gun now should be stamped "336", the new ejector is stamped "30274". Some Glock Armorers particularly the GSSF match Armorers already have this ejector, but if you can't find one who has the new ejector you'd have to send it in to Glock so they can replace the ejector. If you call them and tell them about the ejection problem and that you heard there's a new ejector to fix it, they'll likely want you to send it in to them so they can install it. They usually offer to send you a prepaid shipping label but if they don't you should ask for one.
EDIT: The links I posted to another forum are dead now, so I compiled the photographs of the two new Gen4 ejectors into one photo. The Gen4 9mm ejector is stamped "30274", the Gen4 .40SW/.357SIG ejector is stamped "28926".

No, I'm waiting for the latest Gen4 trigger housings with the new ejector to be sold online so I can take the new ejector out of that trigger housing and put it into a Gen3 trigger housing for use in my Gen3 G27 which has erratic ejection. Currently Glock is only using the new ejector for Gen4, but a good number of the latest production Gen3 9/40 have the same problem. Many people have already tried the new ejector and everyone says it fixed the problem for them. The "30274" stamped one is for 9mm, there's another for .40 that looks quite similar but doesn't have its own number designation yet.

just wanted to bump this thread. anyone here have the new ejector yet?
Not yet, and I'm looking for them too. I wonder if anyone who has the one would post close up photos of it and the old one (3 views: side/top/front), so that we can see the difference. These are pretty inexpensive parts, so if I thought I could maybe file an old one into the shape of the new one I'd be willing to give it a try. But without a closeup look at the new part, that's probably not even feasible.
It's interesting that some of us have been able to cure the eject-in-your-face problem with a new extractor. If I had thought about it just a little more, I may have come to the conclusion that the source of the problem was the ejector, but it never occurred to me. So, apparently the movement out of the chamber and into the air (in the right direction) is controlled to a degree by both the extractor and the ejector. The things you learn!
I wonder how we get this into a new thread, something catchy like "New 30274 Ejector"?

Here are a few more links showing the new "30274" 9mm ejector. Currently Glock is only using the new 9mm and .40 ejectors in Gen4. Some recent production Gen3's have the same problem but Glock is currently not using the new ejectors in Gen3's that have erratic ejection problems.

So far I've only heard one report of a brand new Gen4 G34 that had the new ejector already installed when it was purchased brand new, if I remember correctly the test-fire date was 10-18-2011.
Recently on another forum, an Armorer posted that he asked Glock to send the new ejector to him so he could install it himself. He was told that currently Glock is only installing the new ejector at the factory in Smyrna and that they are not sending the ejector itself to Armorers. There's no word yet on whether the newest Gen4 trigger housings will have the new ejector already installed.

That's really disappointing to hear. I don't understand that out of all the updates to the Gen4 platform, this is something that Glock Inc. wants the whole receiver, even if you're an Armorer. Don't we have to deal with FFL transfers since the receiver is viewed as the "gun" in the law books?
