I now how nearly impossible in some cases it is to diagnose a problem via the Internet. Basically, there's two problems. One is that the round will not chamber fully but stops short of complete chambering. Secondly, something is causing the slide to nick the magazines as seen in the photos. Whatever it is has already destroyed one magazine and I've seen nicks on a second one with only a few rounds being chambered. The slide on the left side seems to be the worse in that the left side of the mag gets nicked the worse. I've watched the mag being seated slowly with a flash light on the top of it and it looks like it's just too close to the bottom section of the slide where the mag first is pushed up. It does make contact but I wouldn't think enough to cause the damage I've seen.
The slide hasn't moved from where it's always been. The notch in the magazine keeps the mag from going any further than what it always has so it just makes no sense. When pushed up you can hear the familiar click and know it's seated. Everything appears to function as designed. I know the RSA may seem suspect but I wouldn't think two of them would be weak. One has no more than 300 rounds and the other has zero. I remain at a loss. The slide lock is positioned properly with the spring riding against the locking block pin and the trigger pin running though the stop itself.
I'm not sure what's meant here...Pivots against the spring pressure? The extractor doesn't move that I know of but is held in place by the plunger assembly and will indeed extract a fully loaded round.Check to see that the extractor pivots smoothly against the spring pressure provided by the extractor depressor plunger, and that it will in fact extract a fired case.

I just got back from the range trying out a new HK 45 and had one of the guys that work there later to call in his most experienced Glock armorer guru. He came over and I described the two major problems and took one of the magazines the G30SF had tried to eat and told him of the feeding problems showing him a few rounds and how something was nicking the case rim and scratching the case itself. He took it down and looked at the parts and asked if I'd changed anything or had taken the magazine apart. After we discussed that all I did was clean it good and put in a new trigger bar. I gave him some of the ammo I had been having trouble with and the old chewed up mag and a new one for test purposes. He did the paper work and I left it with him. Hopefully, by Monday I'll get a call telling me what's wrong.
Thankx for the update, no question that whatever the problem/fix is gonna be lots of us, (all of us if we are all paying attention), will remember this for the next one through !
Hang in there buddy, you will get it.

Well, I like in hopes. I have a sneaking suspicion the slide rails are a bit too low and that's what's chewing the mags but again, just grasping at straws. There was a lot of discussion about that before on this model...we'll see.
I thought I'd give an update as to the problem with the G30SF. After having the pistol about a week the armorer called me and left a message on the answering machine and said he didn't like the "edge" on the extractor and filed/smoothed it up. He also indicated that he had "pulsed..." something. I couldn't make out what he said and will have to see him Friday when I go in to pick it up. He made no mention, although I showed him the magazine of what caused the chewed up mag and that's another thing we need to discuss. I don't' want another mag ruined and I don't really believe an extractor had anything to do with that. I wish I hadn't missed his call but we'll talk Friday and hopefully he'll be there. I did wonder whey my brass looked so ragged when using this pistol compared to other 45's I have. The rims were nicked and the extractor groove was cut. No way you'd get 10+ reloads from brass from that pistol. I'm anxious to see what he says about the magazine.
