    Glock Armorer?
    Yes

I bought my first Glock sometime early in 1999. I went to my first Glock armorer course in late 2006. I didn't do a full detail strip until after attending the armorer course.

... and what is funny is none of my GLOCKs ever actually needed to be detail stripped.

The exception were police trade-ins that looked as if they had NEVER been cleaned. However, in their defense they functioned 100% and I wouldn't hesitate to trust my life with any one of them.

All of mine get stripped now so that I can put lube in the "sweet spot". I also change out any grooved triggers to smooth triggers.

Never, since buying it new. Has about 3000 rounds through it. Field strip and clean after every firing.

I do the extended slide stops, but don't do the minus connectors as a rule.

I've seen it done. I know how to do it. One would think I would take the time to take care of something so important with such an easy task. But in the tradition of everything that I hold near & dear to me, I will neglect it until it is far too late to salvage, then I'll sign the divorce papers and start over... Oh wait, what was the question again?

What is even more funny is I used to field strip after each range session ... more or less ... and never felt my GLOCKs were that dirty. Not that I actually do know how to detail strip them and do so regularly I am appalled by how filthy they get in such quick time. Yes, they still run. I just feel compelled to hose them out every once in a while.

For instance, I cleaned the two I shot in the GSSF match the next day. I am guessing both had less than 500rds through them each. They were nasty. jlweems will tell you it's because I had too much lube in them. He's probably correct too. Too much lube attracts and holds all the grime and lets it build up.

Usually aftere every range trip, but it might take me a few days to do it. I still haven't cleaned mine since GSSF Conyers.
