i just ordered some hornady xtp 155 grn jhp's for my G29. i know at 1265fps they're at the low range of 10mm power, but for home defense, i didn't want massive penetration (plus they were only $16.99/box at midwayusa lol).

I was limited to the Hornady 155 gr XTP's as well here in Albuquerque. I did come across some Buffalo Bore 10mm, but figured I'd rather order Double Tap!

i'm with ya on the buffalo bore-no way i'm paying those obscene prices (especially considering they now use those crappy montana gold jhp's!)

well, i got some swampfox 165gr gold dots here recently at 1,400+ fps. i'm going to use those. man, those things have to hit like a freight train!

the 10mm XTP's aren't bad, but they're no where near full power.

i've been shooting swampfoxes' 200 gr FMJ's at the range in my G29-now that'll put hair on your chest LOL

After some research and a few videos I've seen here at the Glock-Pro Media i purchased some Winchester 175 gr. Silvertip HP .I feel that I'll get the knock down power i need with out shooting up the rest of the neighborhood . Hoping to never have to use these shells I'm happy to have them and save my 180 GR. FMJ for the range and other shooting . Will also try some 200 GR. Blazer at the range today .

i've tried the UMC 180gr, and the blazer 200gr, and much prefer the blazer. it's more accurate, cleaner burning, and kicks only a little more

most of the 10mm i've fired so far has been the blazer.

Buffalo Bore is dirty in my experience.
