In an important victory for California gun owners, the Fresno Superior Court ruled today that California's new ammunition regulation law is unconstitutional, and blocked further enforcement.
The law, passed last year as AB 962, would have banned mail order ammunition sales and required all purchases of so called "handgun ammunition" to be registered. In an unwritten ruling from the bench, Judge Jeffrey Hamilton found the law unconstitutionally vague on its face and issued an injunction against its enforcement. For now, at least, mail order ammunition sales to California residents can continue, and ammunition sales need not be registered under the law.
Ya know I grew up in San Diego in the 70's. But after 20 years in Colorado I don't even like to visit anymore. Took my youngest with me for a 10 day visit last summer, kept my Glock in my camera bag, which was with me all the time, but I sure couldn't wait to get over the state line when we left.
Yeah, now the gun crowd in Cali needs to get off their butts and start actively lobbying against some of the libtards in the state house, and Senate. Not too mention their Federal ones too.
Well said SG, problem today is the minority wanting these new laws are the most active! We all need to get active and vote gun friendly! Only way Missouri got conceal carry!
How expensive is 9mm ammo out in california ? In virginia it is 10$ for the low end stuff 50 round and 15 for higher grade stuff like 124 or 147 grain.
