I am a true believer in testing the guns you are interested in because if it doesn't feel good in the hand you won't be as comfortable and shoot alot worse, also if the recoil is something you don't like then find one that is because shot placement is KEY, and all these things plus more make or break a BAD situation. Ballistic wise the GAP has a very slight advantage but like another person said check out double Tap ammo and that closes that gap, but I think even more important as well is availability 45 acp is alot easier to find then 45 GAP. In the end it breaks down to what feels good in YOUR hand does the recoil feel controllable to you, shoot both see which one is better for you. Best wishes[/B]
