I am a 47 yr old with 30 years as a Volunteer Fire fighter with my main training being Heavy and Tactical Rescue. Prior to investing in the G19 Gen 2 for my wife and the G23 Gen 3 for my daily carry, we had a Ruger P89. I could shoot that weapon very well, only issue was the size so I sold it to a gun shop.
I take firearms seriously and enjoy shooting my Glocks and also my shotguns. I prefer to not have challenges to comments made but rather professional and adult level discussions on the forum boards. Have no time for the childish games as was going on on some other sites.
I am happy to have found this site, great people and learning more every day about my Glocks.
I have taken several handgun courses, the first with my wife. Before my wife and I moved away from our adult daughter I signed my daughter up for her first handgun safety course. Surprised her by signing up and taking the course with her. She was a natural with the .38 special provided by the hosting range. Purchased her a Taurus .38 Special before I moved. Decided to up-grade my daughter's pistol to a new G26 Gen 3 as a surprise when she received her CCW permit. She fell in love with the G26 and shoots it well. I am a very proud father and have a supportive wife.
Gotten proficient with my G23, 12 gauge and AR15.
